Vintage BBQ Aprons

For this week's Vintage Thingies Thursday, I wanted to share more of my vintage apron collection. These are two I'm quite proud of! BBQ aprons for the fellas!

I've had this one a while, and I may have shared it before...so think of this as a return engagement! It was only with slight reluctance that I handed over 25 bucks in exchange for this apron at a local 4H flea market. At the time, it was the first vintage man's apron that I'd come across and I decided I couldn't live without it. The chef's head is a pocket. Still lovin' it!Last Monday I was at another flea market in the area and found this set that included not only the 50's graphic style illustration that I love so much, but a matching chef's hat! And it was a bargain compared to the first apron...only 12.50 for the set!I tried to get Mark to model these for me, but he declined.

What cute aprons, especially that white one! It would be a shame to get him dirty, but I guess that IS what they were made for, right?!

The chef themed aprons are very cute. Is that a dress form hiding under the middle picture? I am a dress form fanatic.

Those aprons are so CUTE! I like the little stand you have them on too and the puppy below ;)...what a cutie!

Ok..when I clicked on your blog the first thing I thought was...that's me...on your header. don't you just love how you find people in blog land that are doing the same things you are? I too am domestically challenged! After seeing your blog though..I think you are doing just fine!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and give that puppy a big kiss from me...so precious.

Male aprons? But of course! What else should they wear whilst barbecueing?! Very fancy - that red apron is super cool, what a wonderful find

I have many vintage aprons but none for men. Love the white one. Definitely 50's with those colors.

I also collect vintage aprons and just love them, but I've never come across an apron for guys. What great finds...I love them.
Happy belated VTT, and have a great weekend.

I remember when you bought that first one.
Cool stuff!

Now WHY in the WORLD wouldn't Mark model these manly aprons?
