It has robots!

As promised, I made myself a purse from the fab-ooo-less Japanese robot print fabric that arrived this weekend. I only bought a half yard...kicking myself now. After searching through my patterns and books and not really finding anything to my liking that didn't call for more than a half yard I set off through every purse tutorial ever published online.

Even though I did find some really cute tutorials, I never really settled on anything. So instead, I made a basic tote style bag w/extra long handles. Because I added the denim around the bottom, I should have enough to make a smaller tote style bag for my shop. Someday, that is, when I'm in the mood to make things for my shop again.

Now normally, I'd tell you every little thing that I did wrong. But I'm learning to learn from my mistakes instead of dwelling on them.

So, instead, I'll tell you what's right about my new purse...

It has robots!

Wow! Kellie it looks great! So glad you didn't let us know what was wrong with it but I can see so many more great things then "robots" Love the colour. The denim is GREAT for the bottom. Love the handles too. I could go on and on and on.....

What a lovely tote bag! Sharp and smart - and the fabric - so cute! That ribbon is utterly perfect - you'd think it was made for robots! Enjoy using it!
