I guess you could call it maintaining, but I'm not feeling very "glass half full" this morning. Could just be that I have to go back to a meeting for work today after nearly three months of Summer Vacation, it's early, and I'm just being grouchy, but I'm a little mad at myself. I didn't lose a stinkin' pound this week!
OK, so part of that is because I chose to make some three point cupcakes this week. Was a good idea, anyway. Craving something sweet, so I though I'd do the "right" thing and eat cupcakes that were low in points (compared to real cupcakes, that is). Here's the problem. I have NO self control. I ate four...yesterday alone! That's half my points allowance for the day! Sheesh! And while I'm confessing, I also ate a Sonic Blast choc' full of Oreos this week, not to mention the cupcakes that were consumed prior to yesterday. Yeah, the were good, but not sure it was worth it.
A lack of movement may have led to my non-loss as well. Sunday and Monday I spent the better part of the day plastered in front of the computer trying to finish up my cookbook project and, I'm not going to lie, I spent WAY too many hours yesterday trying to win everything known to man in the Dog Days of Summer Bloggy Giveaway. (If you haven't already, check out my bloggy giveaway item!)
Alright, so I have GOT to reign in in this week. And it'll be hard. My lil' sis and her husband have been working in Poland as missionaries for a year and they are home for a visit. YAY! PRAISE GOD! I really have missed those kids! Heading out to see them this afternoon...much celebration and much food to be had over the next few months. I'll have to be really careful. I don't want to gain next week! In fact, I really want to be a loser next week!

It is hard to stay away from the good tasting stuff. I had to throw away half of a perfectly good turkey sub because I knew it would just kill me in my intake. It would put me WAY over the top.
Well, today's another day, kick some weight loss butt! LOL! See you next week, I love your sewing!
Hang in there. At least you didn't gain, like me! Just keep making good choices. Path to Health
I'm the same way- no self control. I can't stop. I would have eaten more than 4 cupcakes. As they always say- Nothing tastes as good as thin feels. That's hard to rememeber when you're so stinkin' hungry!
I'm a computer potato and I love me some bad bad food.
We just need to keep trying. :)
You've got a fun blog here. I like. Doesn't weight loss suck? Well, no, weight loss doesn't, but the effort does! I hate it that it's "easy come, just won't go!" I've got a 5-day camping trip with my husband's family coming up this weekend, which means there's a constant supply of food and little incentive to do more than walk from the campsite to the beach!!
WE CAN DO THIS!
Be happy, at least you did not gain sweety.
I've always maintained that I dont have a weight problem, I have an eating problem. I have no self control either!!!
Don't sweat it! Good luck this week!
OK, so you didn't lose, but you didn't GAIN. GOOD LUCK this week!!!
Hang in there!! I was right where you are a couple of weeks ago. There is something to be said for maintenance. YOU CAN DO IT!!
Thanks so much for all the support! I realize maintaining IS better than gaining! Feeling better!
Hopefully I can visit some of your blogs soon! :)
Oooh could you share the recipe to the 3 point cupcakes please!!! I would say congrats on not gaining though so you must have been doing something right. Better luck this week!!
