I owe my sewing machine an apology...

Apparently it doesn't hate me. It just needed a little special attention. Thanks to some of my buddies at work, I managed to get her up and running again. Just when I had made up my mind to buy a nice new(but inexpensive) Kenmore! I managed to finish up the apron for my sister. I didn't think I'd ever finish it and there were many many many snags along the way with this one! I would like to have done a better job on it, but I think for a once in a year accessory, Jackie will still like it! Also made her and Scott a set of Halloween coasters from Amy Karol's Bend the Rules Sewing and some fun mixy-matchy Halloween napkins.

As far as yesterday being a black cloud day...it was BUT today was better...nothing out of the ordinary. ;) Perhaps I'm feeling this way because it's the week before Fall Break and everyone seems to have gone nuts. The students and the teachers, myself included...especially myself. Lord, get us through tomorrow and let us come back with our sanity restored!

Thanks Fiona! Yes, it is good to have my friend back :)

YAY! Jackie, hope you like everything. I'm making a set of those same napkins for myself. Thinking of making MORE for Christmas too!

Love the apron and the napkins. I wish I would have thought of making some.

I do love the fabrics you used to make them. :)

I have a Kenmore sewing machine. I love it. I just wish I had bought one with more decorative stitches, but in time I will get another machine.

Have fun making more goodies. :)
