Well it's usually up by the day after Thanksgiving, but here it is ELEVEN days before Christmas and I'm just got the tree up! Here's a picture to prove it! I don't have a lot of other decorations. I know people who decorate the whole house for Christmas. My mother comes to mind :) I'm not one of those people. I wish I were, but I'm just not that organized...or motivated.
I do have a few decorations placed randomly around the kitchen/great room. Mom made the sleigh and reindeer arrangements for me last month and I love 'em! I had big plans to make myself a Christmas tablecloth, apron, and matching napkin set. As it stands, now...it ain't happenin' this year! It's that lack of motivation thing. I suppose my vintage ebay tablecloth and flea market apron will have to work this year!
Tomorrow, I AM going to get the dang scarecrows off the porch...I feel like such a redneck.

I LOVE your tree! Man, you have some awesome style. I love it when a person knows what they like. It's bold. Too cool. And personally, I think less is more when it comes to deco. My mom and grandma deco the whole house and I love it when I'm there, but when I'm at home, it's overwhelming.
